Blogger team disallow SE-bots to indexing blogs in robots.txt :(
Few days ago I began playing with Google Sitemaps. I added several sites, among which were blogger blogs, verified them and forgot about that. In two days I login into the service and was shocked: some pages of all blogs hosted on blogger were prohibited for indexing in robots.txt! For those who don’t know: owner of a blog hosted on blogger can’t manage this file, it doesn’t exist at all! I sent email to blogger support and got the standart answer - “We can’t answer to everyone, ask in Google Groups”.
Surfing through Google Groups, I found out that “smart” guys from Blospot team during periods of maintenance put up robot.txt in all blogs, and it forbids indexing of all pages by all spiders:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
When I repeated inquiry to Blogsopt support, I got a regular robot answer though it was said in the first mail from it: “If your question or problem is not addressed anywhere in our documentation, please simply reply to this message and let us know”.
I doubt that will make new blogs on Blogger. Don’t recommend it to you, too.

I hear you loud and clear. My blog was just declined by a blog review website and the reason they gave for declining it,was that it wasn’t indexed.
This was not good news to me,as I’ve worked very hard on this blog, only to find out that a lot of blog review websites will only review your blog if it’s indexed properly.Looks like i’ll be searching for another blog hosting program.
